A house

Finally their parents had found a home. It was an abandoned building with some other squatters living there. They were so excited to move in. They managed to high jack the electricity. They were so proud to be off the streets and living in a house.

Jeannette graduated from Bernard that spring. The magazine that she had been working for had offered her a full time job. She agreed to move in with her boy friend, Eric, who she had been seeing for a few years. He was very wealthy and had a very nice apartment. She felt like everything was clicking in. Her parents had found a place to live, and she was very happy as well. Her parents supported her in any way they could. Her dad always read her articles and her mom was always there to talk with her.

Jeannette never told anyone about her parents. She was scarred she was going to loose her job. She told lies that her parents still live in West Virginia. That her mom is an artist and her dad in an entrepreneur.
